I’m excited to introduce a new weekly feature here at Carolina Craftin’! Each week, I’ll be putting the spotlight on one special Stampin’ Up! suite, bundle, or product and sharing a variety of cards, projects, tips, and techniques using those featured products.

Have you ever purchased a bundle or suite because you fell in love with one beautiful sample, only to get it home and wonder, “Now what else can I make?” You’re definitely not alone! My goal with this weekly feature is to help you see just how versatile these products can be by sharing multiple creative ideas throughout the week. Whether you make the projects exactly as shown or simply use them as inspiration, I hope you’ll discover fresh ways to get more enjoyment from the products you already own–and maybe even find a new favorite along the way. While the featured collection will be the star of the week, I’ll still be mixing in other cards and projects using a variety of Stampin’ Up! products to keep the creativity flowing.

This card was made by using the scraps that I cut off of last week’s Saturday Scrap Card. I love to challenge myself to use up all of those scraps!

MOTIVATION MONDAY

You don’t need hours in your craft room to be creative. Just challenge yourself to make one card today! Pull out a favorite stamp set and use a simple sketch. I created this card using a template and featured Beautiful Gallery 6 x 6 DSP.

Template measurements:

Thick Basic White Cardstock – 8 ½ ” x 5 ½ “, scored at 4 ¼ ” (card base)
Basic Black Cardstock – 5 ¼ ” x 4 “, 1 7/8 circles (2 pieces)
Basic Gray Cardstock – 5 ” x 3 ¾ “

PRETTY POINSETTIA DIES

If you missed my Facebook Live last night, we played with the Pretty Poinsettia Dies to create this beautiful card. I paired it with the Shimmering Stripes Specialty Designer Series Paper and used Wink of Stella on the petals and leaves to give it the subtle sparkle that catches the light perfectly. As one viewer commented, “It looks frosted.”

This week I decided to use an easy to follow template to create a few cards. I made several cards in no time at all!
